The wheels of justice move slowly, but they are moving.
The Attorney General’s office requested consolidation of our case with two others - one led by Bruce Afran - due to similarities in claims of unconstitutionality. We responded without objection, for a few good reasons.
Consolidation means all three cases will be heard at the same time, so that decisions that impact all three are consistent.
Our pro se case will be bolstered by the arguments of the others. This means we benefit from the research and expertise of extremely competent attorneys.
Our case is different in that we are questioning the validity of ALL executive orders being justified by a state of emergency that continued even after the Public Health Emergency was terminated back in June. Consolidation will not prevent us from arguing the differences in our case. This is a win win!
We expect a briefing to be scheduled by the court shortly.
Stay tuned!
