Is this an attempt to make even more changes to how New Jersey votes before the November midterm elections?

The NJ Assembly Appropriations Committee lists several pieces of election - voting related legislation for the June 14, 2022 meeting agenda.

📍Bill A3817 AcaAca (2R) "Requires ballot privacy sleeves at polling place; makes various changes to early and mail-in voting procedures; creates online form to update name and residence on existing voter registration record."

📍Bill A3818 Aca (1R) "Designates specific dates for special fire district elections."

📍Bill A3819 AcaAca (2R) "Specifies circumstances when voter will be removed from permanent vote by mail status and when ballot will be sent to primary address; requires educational campaign; makes appropriation of $5 million."

📍Bill A3820 AcaAca (2R) "Requires election officials to provide unaffiliated voters political party affiliation declaration form and information for voting in primary election; prohibits mail-in ballot envelopes from containing visible political affiliation or designation for certain elections."
