Meet Bob Bolus. MSN makes sure to say Bob is a longtime Trump supporter who has plans to shut down the DC Beltway to protest COVID-19 mandates, illegal immigration and inflation. Apparently, Bob is a local Scranton business owner that is leading a convoy to DC starting today. You may have seen his face pop up suddenly in clips from TV interviews all over Telegram today. Is Bob genuine? Does he really believe in the cause? Maybe. Is Bob an informant for the Feds or a convenient “local hero” the media can prop up before savagely burying him and his convoy with information they purposely withheld to lure unsuspecting people to DC? You decide.
In the interviews and reporting about Bob Bolus that surfaced today, MSN et al shockingly failed to mention that local convoy leader, Bob, has a rap sheet. In 2012, Bob was sentenced to prison for insurance fraud. He was convicted for filing a false insurance claim for one of his tow trucks involved in a crash back in 2009 to the tune of approximately $30k. According to local reports, Bob is prolific in the community service department and had some health issues so the Judge was lenient in his sentencing.
“Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced charges against Minuteman companies and its owner Brian Bolus, along with family members Bob Bolus Sr., Robert Bolus Jr., Debra Bolus, Julie Bolus, and Sophie Gregory.
The attorney general claims Minuteman companies illegally dumped waste products from shale gas drilling and defrauded clients by overbilling.
The charges come after evidence was presented to a statewide grand jury that recommended criminal charges. “

But wait, it gets better. Bob Bolus was featured in an NYU Journalism Project titled, “The Deplorables of Scranton.” An excerpt about Bob reveals perhaps the most telling part of his history:
”After observing Bolus’ efforts on behalf of Donald Trump for two days, it became increasingly clear the man wasn’t doing all this only because of his passion for Trump. Bolus has a natural ease seeking publicity and organizing a well-oiled campaign. He’s a born politician.
However, due to his criminal record, there is little chance he’ll run for elected office. That’s not for lack of trying. In 2001, Bolus ran for mayor of Scranton but was barred by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court because of his 1991 felony conviction. Bolus’ family hasn’t been free of legal troubles either. His son Brian, who Bolus says he’s disowned, pleaded guilty to federal tax evasion this January.
Bolus claims his legal saga is the product of repeated battles with local government and law enforcement, members of which he accused of overseeing various corrupt schemes in the trucking industry involving tolling fees and even drugs.
“When you do what I do and speak out against the power and corruption you get screwed,” he says. “The system is dirty and corrupt.’’
We Are New Jersey has no proof that Bob Bolus is a Federal informant but we DO have proof that media outlets left out key details about his past that may have impacted people’s decision to join his convoy. Why? Well, that story writes itself.
If you withhold information a second-grader could dig up on the web and then act shocked and appalled when it’s revealed, you can support your fake reporting about the racist, misogynistic, climate-killing, Trump deplorables who have shut down DC and “threaten our democracy”.
