Resist the Election Year Trap: College Protests are an Operation
Big donor money and NGOs fuel the latest showdown
In the current climate of heightened global tension and divisive rhetoric, it's crucial to pause and reflect on the destructive patterns humanity tends to repeat. As we approach a consequential election in the United States, it's evident that certain astroturfed operations are playing a significant role in stirring discord. These operations, particularly those occurring on college campuses throughout the country, are not just about foreign policy but are being used by bad actors and NGOs to sow dissent domestically. We have seen this movie before - Black Lives Matter and Blue Lives Matter; MAGA and Liberals; Hippies and Fascists and, and, and….
These emotionally charged campaigns often present harrowing scenes and divisive language, deliberately designed to polarize communities and divide us into opposing camps. As the rhetoric escalates, so too does the potential for violence, leading to a troubling cycle where the victim becomes the victimizer. This transformation occurs when individuals, feeling justified by their grievances, respond with hate and violence.
Are the college protests a planned operation? You decide.
An event occurs that takes over the news cycle and commands public attention.
The corporate media highlights or exacerbates the issue with multiple stories meant to steer public discourse and achieve some hidden ultimate action - usually a policy change or to shift public opinion.
Genuine grassroots movements organize around issue or “astroturfed” groups pop-up to commandeer the response. (Astroturfing masks who the actual sponsor of a group is but is meant to look grassroots and non-partisan. Groups are often backed by corporations or foundations who have a vested interest in getting involved.)
Paid agitators or online bots may disrupt planned actions and cause conflict within groups, forcing members into opposing factions. These personas may encourage violence to see how other members respond. These personas may also stage events that get pushed relentlessly on social media, “independent” media outlets and mainstream news.
Memorable chants, symbols and flags get created that Americans identify with and divide themselves under. People carry these flags at rallies, chant the phrases at the prompting of conspicuous characters with megaphones, and groups become easily identifiable in photos or video.
It's a pattern seen throughout history: groups and nations whipped into a frenzy and rallying against each other, perpetuating cycles of retaliation. As a society, and indeed as a species, it is imperative that we break these cycles. We must recognize the role of external manipulation in these conflicts and resist being drawn into the fray. It is not naive to choose peace; it is wise. Historical patterns must be studied to be understood and avoided.
Christianity, like many other religions, teaches compassion, forgiveness, and reconciliation. To kill in the name of religion contradicts the very essence of these teachings. The path to enlightenment, both moral and societal, requires us to adopt a stance of proactive peace. This means not merely avoiding conflict but actively engaging in dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation. We need to dismantle the mechanisms of war and it starts with “disarming” weaponized NGOs and the military industrial complex who use our taxpayer dollars against us to achieve their warped ends.
You can fight back peacefully! Refuse to pick a side and use critical thinking to root out the forces that continue to perpetuate bloody conflicts from the safety of their board rooms. Let’s stand firmly together on the common ground of humanity. It's time to turn away from old narratives and manipulation tactics that breed revenge and damage the human soul. This is the only way forward if we are to build a world on truth that puts humanity first. Use discernment and master your emotions in the coming weeks. Our future depends on it.
