Staying Grounded in Logic When the News Wants You Fearful
An admin here at WANJ works in corporate media and they have a front row seat for how the “sausage is made” so this story from NBC induces a mega eye roll. The headline screams - “NJ COVID Cases Spike 42% in a Day as Cities Rush to Impose Masking, Close Schools”
In calmer times, corporate media relies on events they can dramatize, exaggerate and exploit for views and clicks. They are competing against a world of media choices and trying to stay relevant. During war, they are a weaponized arm of the ruling class seeking to mold public opinion and drive outcomes that serve an agenda. Make no mistake, we are at war.
Perhaps you’ve fallen for some of their tricks during this pandemic:
* Are you still running off your supply of toilet paper from early 2020?
* Did you start buying your Christmas presents in the summer because you were convinced the supply chain collapse would mean no gifts for your family?
* In early 2020, did you watch that daily COVID death ticker and feel your anxiety grow but find it tough to stop watching the news?
We’ve come so far since then and that makes corporate media, government and Big Pharma VERY uncomfortable. Do not allow your joy and logical thinking to be sucked away by these demon leeches.
The truth is, it’s winter and people are getting sick with all sorts of viruses and colds. Obsessing over illness and death only contributes to the mass psychosis our society is currently experiencing.
Instead, when we hear of stories talking about hospitals in NJ being on divert status we should ask why officials thought it best to fire unvaccinated employees before flu season arrived.
We should question why they are stoking fear and driving people with mild symptoms to get tested for COVID en masse which stresses the system and depletes testing resources causing further panic.
Of course, we know the answer to these questions when we pause and think rationally. They don’t care about your health. They want you on your knees begging them to save you.
Fool you once, shame on them. Fool you twice? Shame on YOU.
